The STRATEGIC POSITIONING of DATA for MED will be a unique plus covering south of Italy and Mediterranean area.

The Naples – Caserta area is not only rich in history and culture but also in logistic services: international airport, high-speed train station, commercial harbor and main highway connecting the north and south of Italy.

SUSTAINABILITY

  • We are developing a first proprietary Solar Plant in our land up to 15 MW to support the load of the first cluster.

  • We plan to build additional solar plants to support the load of the second and third clusters on additional lands owned by us.

  • We will use only certified green energy

  • We are working to obtain the best PUE (<1,3)

  • We believe in liquid cooling technology to push PUE below 1,2

CERTIFICATIONS

  • The Data Center is designed as a TIER IV layer 2 infrastructure based on the standard ANSI/TIA-942-A (Certification in progress)

  • The Data Center is designed and will be built to comply with Leed Gold specifications (Certification in progress)

  • All the desired ISO Certifications to guarantee sustainability, security and quality of services are in progress

Standard racks ready to use

Inside our fully managed aisle containment systems you can rent from single cabinet to an entire island of cabinets ready to host your systems and connect to the world.

Dedicated data hall

You can rent a whole or half white space floor, with the maximum privacy and flexibility of fit-out, from a minimum of 800 sqm and 1 MW up to 1.700 sqm and 2,5 MW

Dedicated cages

You can rent dedicated cages from a minimum of 50 sqm and 90 KW power availability.
We can design with you the specific fit-out of every cage.

Shared or dedicated disaster recovery workplaces

In the office building we will have a space dedicated to Disaster Recovery workplaces, directly on-net with the Data Center and where you can rent from a single workplace to dedicated and reserved space for up to 30 operators

About us

DATA for MED was born in 2022 on the initiative of a leading Italian real estate company with a portfolio over Euro 1,5 billion in assets and projects under management, with the aim of building and managing the most powerful and advanced Data Center Campus in Southern Italy in the city of Caserta.

With 30 MW of available power, 60.000 sqm of total area, 14.400 sqm of data rooms, 4.8 MW IT power dedicated to HPCs and supercomputers, all ANSI/TIA Tier IV certified, the project will have a position of primary importance not only in the southern Italian scenery but also in the international market.

Our vision

The demand for edge data centers for high performance IT & network infrastructure solutions will escalate, propelling the edge data center market size expansion.
An edge node needs:

  • hyper-connected infrastructure
  • High power density with possible availability of liquid cooling infrastructure
  • Low Latency to end users and data operators

DATA for MED will be the main Edge Data Center Colocation HUB for central and south of Italy
